Fat Boy Weekly Bike RideThis Weekend the No Hill Hundred is taking place in Fallon. I need to apologize to the group over there because I will not be able to attend. I have the word SUCKER written on my head and of course have to BBQ at the Reno High Homecoming the night before. And of course UNR-UNLV game will be taking place Saturday at 1 pm and have the family 4 pack pass.If you have not their ride before try to get out there. They do a great job and there really are no hills. You need to register online at ACTIVE.COM. I know some have found a ride sponsored by Scheels on Ocotober 10th. I will post information this weekend. I have to present at the NAPHERD PE Conference that day so I will not be able to ride. I hope to put together a ride on the river again on October 17th. I am meeting with the Kiwanis Bike Project at 11 am so hope to ride from 8 to 10 am that morning.

It is cold out there tonite, wish me luck. This will be short today. I will post some winter riding tips next time. I had my brother up from San Diego and well, I am too old to be out that late. So I am dragging today. In the Works and ThanksThanks again for such a great turn out at the first Poker Run. I have had a ton of emails and it seems everyone had a great time. I mentioned the possible time changes and well we will figure that out after the first of the year. I promise to make each run better than the one before.Fat Boy Events that we are working on: Fat Boy Poker Run in May. Fat Boy Century Ride in Early June. I am going to meet with Scheels and try to get them to be the main sponsor. This ride will be 50 miles with all the drinking at the end of the ride.
