Okay, that might not have been the social event of the year but what a start. We had just over 100 riders and raised $2,000 for Dilworth Middle School.I have to thank all the businesses, volunteers, my wife, my family, and all the riders for making it such a success.
If you missed it, mark down May 1, 2010 because that will be the date of the 2nd Poker Run.
This newsletter will go out again Friday. It will be the same information. I have asked all the riders from the Poker Run to join our group and I want to send the information about our ride this weekend out to them. SO delete the next newsletter, unless you are bored.
Fat Boy Weekly Bike Ride
Going to meet at Reno High, and yes I will be there. Ride the Truckee River Path to the end and back. Breakfast somewhere downtown Reno?Saturday Morning (September 19, 2009) @ 8 am.
Upcoming Weeks:
September 26th - No ride
October 3rd - No Hill Hundred
I know the No Hill Hundred falls on the UNLV - UNR game. I will be at the game but also will get in the 30 mile ride in the morning at the NO HILL HUNDRED.
Danny and the group from Fallon do a great job on this event. If you get a chance, join us for the short ride or go the entire distance. A few of us are car pooling early, want to be riding by 7 am and get back in time to take the families to the football game.

Fat Boy Events that we are working on:Fat Boy Poker Run in May.
Fat Boy Century Ride in Early June. I am going to meet with Scheels and try to get them to be the main sponsor. This ride will be 50 miles with all the drinking at the end of the ride.
