Fat Boy Biking Ride

Largest 40 miler group yet - over 20 riders!

It is not too late to join us - Register and pay at the event! We ask all riders to please be on the road by noon. If you are riding the 40 miler you need to get out there before 9:30 - if later than that you will not have the support from Reno Bike Project.

Please do not be confused. Everyone will ride the 10 mile course. The 40 milers will leave O'Skis as a group at 9:00 am. They will get their first stamp at O'Skis and then ride out to Verdi. There will be a rest stop in Verdi. They will get their second stamp as they come back into Reno. They should arrive back in Reno around noon. They will then stop at the establishments they choose as they ride back with the 10 mile riders.

It is your choice on which ride you want to participate in. You only pay one entry fee.

For the 10 and 40 Mile Bike Ride we will start and end at O'Skis on Victorian Ave - downtown Sparks. .


10 Mile Traditional Bike Ride:
Day of the race registration will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Riders can start at 11 am and everyone must be on the road by noon am.

40 Mile Extended Bike Ride:
Day of the race registration will be from 8:00 am to 8:45 am.

Reno Bike Project will once again be running the Verdi loop for us. The plan is if you want to ride the 40 mile course you will be leaving from O'Skis then head out to Verdi at 9 am.

The long ride will be fully supported with a SWAG Wagon/Truck. So if you run into troubles we will get you back into Reno. Reno Bike Project will have some of their volunteers riding with you. Basically a fast group, middle group and a group in the back. If you want to ride on your own then you will be on your own until you get back into Reno.


This will be the 6th Annual Fat Boy Biking Ride. Last year we were able to donate over $2,000.

You must be 21 years of age to enter. If under 21 you can enter day of the event for $15 but you must be accompanied by a paying parent/guardian.
